Newton's 1st Law of motion...It Works!

Newton's first law of motion says, 'An object, having mass, remains at the state of rest or uniform motion unless an external force is applied to it.' Is this true holistically? Let's put forward some arguments...
We have been studying motion in 3 dimensions since the beginning, and now that some intellectuals have given us an idea that TIME is also a dimension so why not run back and forth in this dimension. Many of us might think this as crap which has been discovered again and again but hold on a sec, you have a law with you which is universally accepted you just have to apply it on the right variables and this post is all about placing things together. To do this we must first realize that the dimensions in which we stay for our life are a subset of a larger picture. This is easy to figure out if you are a biologist, he who knows that a horse has circumspect for two dimensions as we have for 3D. As evident in my previous posts, I will explain this with an example;
We buy our kids a clapping monkey, twist the keys and the monkey does his act, try correlating this with yourself. Gulp the same idea keeping yourself in place of this monkey and somebody has twisted your keys and is enjoying your act. For a monkey it is tough to imagine who twisted its keys likewise you too will find it a bit of the track, let me make the task simple for you,
I have defined variables:
1. Clapping monkey = Humans
2. Twisting of Keys = Our Birth
3. Act = Life
4. Somebody = Mr. ABC

My idea says that Mr. ABC has one extra dimension to move on and that dimension is time. He fills in life in us and then enjoys our act and like every perishable item we also loose our life and join Mr. ABC to watch the acts of life from above so it is more like a circular trajectory that our life follows and whenever there is a shortage of fillers Mr. ABC commands us to take that position. Mr. ABC is definitely a superior gene. Now adding to this idea is another perspective, it is the chain of these superior gene that does not stop on 4th dimension, there is somebody above Mr. ABC as well who has access to the 5th dimension and unfortunately we could only imagine 11 of those dimensions and rest still undiscovered. I don't intend to bluntly challenge anybody but what I believe is that this is how things are and there are no limits to the dimensions. So now you see it becomes more like a ladder than a circle, you are into the 3 dimensional world and if you are good at it you progress to next world which gifts you another dimension to explore and once you master that you get another one. Every new world gives you limitless opportunities to explore things. Let me point this trivial thought in a more deserving perspective, imagine all the discoveries that have happened around you with an extra dimension. Reaching speed of light will never be difficult, you can drive your Maruti Suzuki 800 at 30,00,00,000 m/sec. Fourth mandatory law of motion will be famous Albert Einstein's finding i.e. E = mc^2. Mass conversion into energy would never be subsided as a negligible factor and all our equations of Physics will be impacted.
Coming back to the Newton's Law so what exactly was the force I was talking about, I feel that to understand even the presence of nth dimension you will have to end your life (n-1)th dimension. This is so because all that you experience in this life will have no meaning in the next dimension's life cycle, to explain this just imagine this scenario where you were involved in an accident, a road mishap, and you were seriously injured now when you analyse the entire scenario in an extra dimension's world you will be identifying the cause of this accident and correcting it(because you can move in time). This might sound trivial but there are chances that things happen like this in the other world. So the force I was talking about is death, when death happens you enter into the new world of possibilities.
Having this idea placed well how do we accelerate to world of additional possibilites, how do we move up the ladder of dimensions, how should we respond to this virtual competition?
The answer lies amongst the smallest of beings between us. An electron.
An electron can move up to the orbits coming out of the influence of nucleus, only when it reaches an excited state. So until we develop the excitement and feeling of competition our progress chart becomes morbid.
I see this is as a competition because competition involves excitement and brings out your mettle. Person having right attitude, in my opinion, should have all rights to climb up the ladder. Starting right from electrons to human beings every body strives to get an excited state so as to get out of his routine assignment. For an electron it would mean switching orbits and going from revolving around one orbit, which is quite mundane, to the next orbit. Now staying over there for long again sounds ordinary so it starts again striving for next orbit. So a person should always look for excitement.
I end this post saying that there is only one way to lift your spirit up and that is when you remain excited about everything and respond in right spirit to the oppurtunities.

Want to be famous...yes YOU!!!

Everyone of us wants to become famous and that too without much of hard work. How interesting but watch out for an irony, this is supposed to be the most common dream in the world.
To summarize, 'A person wants to become famous for something which is most common'.
Anyways lets come back to our topic, people have discovered various ways to become famous in which some are weird and others even more weird. One such case is a girl slapping Salman Khan, imagine a girl kissing Salman...nah! very common. She did a stupendous task. Don't know if the girl got equal miledge when compared to how much negative publicity Salman got?
Last Sunday I went to Landmark, primarily a book store, which claims to have a good collection of books. Surprisingly, 2 out of every 12 books was about 'how to become famous!' which again leads to the second irony of the post. A report from UNESCO says there were 206,000 books published in USA, in the year 2005 (courtesy: Wikipedia) which means in United States itself over 34,000 people, in the year 2005, knew the success mantra. To avoid an overact here let me cut down the figure to 20,000.
My point here is that if they knew the recipe and the ingredients why didn't they prepare a pudding for themselves.
So if by writing some vague funda on becoming famous you can increase your TRP then it is true but this would do nothing for others. So then how to become elitist of the elite. No I don't have the answer to this because this is something you should be asking to your self, Isn't it?

Numb Neighbours!!!

Even a student from second grade would tell that anything that expands needs space to expand for instance a balloon occupies space, when inflated, from its surroundings. So then why don't thinkers of modern day world provide any answers as to where is our universe expanding?
Going back to school days, we all were taught the significance of our universe and various theories to explain how it moved. Big Bang was one such theory which outclassed all its competitors. Remembering of big bang, it says that our universe was a tiny dot before it banged because of some uncontrolled reactions (don't want to go in details) and since then the debris produced has been moving apart. Interesting story, indeed!
Everything that we know or don't know about is a part of this universe and they say it has exploded. Exploded where? and Where is it expanding?

Information age has its major disadvantage that it limits thinking of a person. We are still not evolved enough to differentiate between science and art, but we are almost there I can say this because we know they are incomplete without one another.
'The purest form of art is science and vice versa.'
and adding to this fact, both these domain require each other to prove themselves.

Some biggies have wierd explanations for this expansion of universe phenomenon, I will share a couple of them:
1. We have long known the mystery of Black Holes, it is said that black holes contain life form of its own. As we know that even light cannot escape the demoniac, so there is no transfer of mass or energy from a black hole to the outer world. Direct implication of this theory is that we are all living in some kind of a black hole. Jitters flow all across my body though, it might have something to explain.
2. A universe is made of two items, mass and energy. We usually exchange energies in our day to day life with various stars. In addition to energy, all heavy bodies exchange masses as well. It is said that we have many parallel universes existing somewhere, amongst them one is ours. The quality that separates one from the other is that they neither exchange mass nor energy between them.

There has been no scientific explanation attached to all this but artists don't stop thinking just because they need some formulae to justify there thoughts. Being an engineer, I still support the thinking aspect of people but am I asking too much when I ask them to prove there philosophies?
I guess not, so big guys get us some answers. Dumb terms like black holes, dark matter and dark energy will not suffice. We are living here and we need to know every corner of it.

Transformation

4 Vedas, 18 Puranas, 108 Upnishads,
verses of epics written along river-heads.
All for a reason to spread teachings on good,
pave an ace for the upcoming broods.

Man has gone a mile and a half extra,
to teach his offsprings this magical sutra.
Be lovable and adore the humankind,
benefit the needy and never stay behind.

But who has then taught us to affray and crucify,
who has been giving the lessons to lie?
Is there an idol for whom it is justified,
to kill the impeccant, rule the world and be happy when others die?

Let's just give it another outlook,
who taught us depravity and whose power did they took?
Let's seek for the source of their origin,
who has been constantly feeding their engine?

Let us surrogate the powerhouse of this evil,
which could be found in shades of an individual.
If we take care of our self powered devil,
World will prosper and happiness will propel.

Information Age to Informatics Age

As I discussed balance and its importance in one of my previous posts, the best example of an imbalance is the present global recession.

One thing I like the most about this Information Age is that it pours humongous knowledge on things which have already happened in the past, but this doesn't suffice the present day need. Today, man wants to re-invent the inventions of the past to better utilize available resources, whether precarious, he wants to see end to end usage of his inventions. What better example can I quote than our cell phone (Mobile)? Communication is just one trivial aspect in present day mobiles.

This paves a demerit of this Age. Imagine that you invent something for a specific primary purpose and after the invention its secondary usage plays dominant. This means we don't know the usage of something which we are developing whether it is good or bad (the supposed primary purpose is always for good). Only when the inventions do enough badly, we capture the information about it and store it in the repository, in some cases an extra step is exercised to regulate the usage of that stuff.

Now that the plot is prepared, how is it responsible for global recession?

We have always looked at our past in case we require teachings, what if something comes up out of the record books? This is what has happened and has resulted in recession. Albert Edwards, amongst the elite economists in modern day world, made a bearish call about this downturn as early as in 1996. But the then world never noticed it because they were under the dot com boom mindset.

Sub prime mortgage has never been a new word to us; the only thing that was new this time was the form of investment which gave roots to this crisis.

If we dig into the past, there are instances as early as 1819 which give us the same picture. American settlers were occupying the eastern states at a very fast pace which resulted in a price rise of eastern lands so the dwellers started moving towards southern parts. Southern state's soil favours cotton crops and hence cotton became their livelihood. By 1816, cotton market picked its pace and by 1819 America was at its peak of exporting cotton. Cotton importing countries had to pay healthy amounts in lieu of cotton which compelled them to produce cotton on there own lands. Back in America, because of large exporting demands the supply increased but eventually by 1819 it reached its break even when the importers became self sufficient and the supply started overshooting demands. These settlers had got there lands on loans from the local state banks. Local state banks, wanting to cash every opportunity of making profits, distributed loans to any and every person who approached them. In addition they sold the securities that they got from farmers to the Central Banks. After this break even was reached, the prices of cotton came crashing down to an alarming level, observing this the Central Banks wanted to wash there hands from this so they pressurized state banks to return their sum of money which eventually led to local banks asking farmers to clear there debt. Farmers had already invested this money in cotton cultivation and had nothing to give.

Meanwhile the downfall of cotton prices also lowered the land prices. Overall there was a loss of money for the local banks and many of them had to succumb but this crisis was not that big in picture than what has happened during present recession period.

Just that instead of cotton farm loans it is Housing loans and we could not figure the way out of this mess. This is what I call a demerit of Information Age, we are just information gatherers in this age and not the information processors.

Conclusion: There is one positive outcome that we have knowledge with us. So why don't we move on into the next Age wherein we can think of

1. What can be the possible cons of my work?

2. What are the remedies/regulations that need to be formulated before I launch my work in public?

If we can answer both these questions I guess most of the modern day problems would be resolved.

Spiritual Philosophy

Its been quite sometime now...anyways what I will be posting today needs some formalities.

Disclaimer: The entire script written below has no connections what so ever with the living or the dead. The information presented here is just a mere thought. Please do not try anything written below at home or elsewhere.

There are two impostant aspects of life which have always been neglected but everyone is bound to understand its importance in one way or the other.
1. Spirituality - The quality or state of relating things to spirits
2. Philosophy - The rational investigation of truths and principles of being

Since childhood we have been taught the stories which account the victory of god's men over Satan, innumerable epics and documentries have been used to set in human minds that god's power is unchallenged. Our conscious minds have been taught to follow god and his grace.
Speaking of mind, it is divided into two parts conscious and unconscious. Conscious mind is where things that you have learnt are stored but the unconscious mind is a black box of the lives that your soul has led and this part of the mind gets activated only when the conscious part is resting which is during sleeping or, may be, after death.
Have you ever seen a battle between good and bad in the unconscious state, try to remember what was the end result...you will never find that out because there is no end and they co-exist.
Earth has always been a house of balance, a balance where both good and evil exist and that too in equal amounts. Understand this with the help of scale, on one side you have good and one the other side there is evil, earth being the centre point of that scale. So when you do anything good in somepart of the earth there is a complementary bad thing done somewhere else.
'Every action has an equal and opposite reaction', every action you do has a complementary action along with it. Examples can vary from small deeds(if you like salty food, somebody countering you will be more interested in sweets) to monsterous deeds(If somebody murders, then a complementary action taken elsewhere is to save somebody). But there have been instances in the past where this balance was disturbed. Why do you think god has to come all the way from heaven to this balance. They want to preserve this balance.
The best part about being in the balance is that you start liking it, you start liking things which are in balance and extremes do make you uncomfortable. Even if you try to traverse through the extremes you will be pulled like a damped pendulmn which brings you back straight to the mean position...no oscillations.

Water, as we know, constitutes maximum part of this balance and water is the only common thing present between the heaven and earth...no inputs on this but rivers are supposed to be sacred and originate from some source in heaven. No account if it is present in hell as well but one thing is rest assured souls go to heaven and hell from this place so there has to be a transporting medium and that I claim is water.
Water is a lubricant which eases our passage to different worlds. So the next question would be if there is water can we traverse through these mediums when we are alive?
Yes we can, but while you are doing that you try to disturb the balance and challenge the powers which are far beyond your control.
I am going to propose a way which is completely theoritical and should not be tried.

Choose a person who you think has the ability to make correct decisions in hard times, mind you it is very difficult to find such a person. In his presence, submerge your body completely inside the lubricant i.e. water. Ask that person, who you trust of making the correct decision, to not let you come out of the water even if you try. If he lets you come out then ask for a towel and forget this incident ever happened, but if he doesn't let you come outside even when you are in deep pain then the time will come when all your excercise will go futile and you will be in the state of numb. In this state you can dare to travel in the time dimension but, as I said, all of a sudden powers of nature would realize that you are disturbing the balance and they will provide you with immense power that you can handle a person with 10 times the strength of you and you will definately push that person apart who tried to "Kill" you. Whatever you see just after this incidence would be amazing and unexplainatory to any creature on this balance. You will see the balance getting restored by your own bare eyes...

Last Moment Efficiency...Reality or Myth?

Out of 500 people surveyed by a television channel, almost 90% people accepted that there efficiency doubles at the Last Moments of finishing a task. Is that really so, this post will explore that in a moment's time but before that, how many of you believe in last minute efficiencies...almost all of us.
What exactly is there in the final moments which remains absent during the entire timeline?
The answer is quite intriguing, it is the Constraints or Dimensions.
When you are given a task with a big timeline there are 3 dimensions associated with it and as the deadline approaches your efficiency increases proportionally. In other words, an extra dimension comes into picture and you become more efficient.
Let me explain this in a different way, you have been assigned a task of fetching a bucket of water from a well. Is it possible for you to fetch water if you had movement in just one dimension or for that matter 2 dimensions, so you needed 3 dimensions to realize that your work could become easy, now just associate time with it and it becomes efficient as well.
Scientist from Quantun theory believe that there are more than 4 dimensions some say 11 and some others say 26, the count is still a mystery for us but does that mean if we find other dimensions in our life it would help us in more than one ways?
An average person utilizes 8% of brain's capability, is it that the answers are hidden inside some strings of quantum? It is still difficult to tell but then it took one falling apple to find gravity, its just that you need brains of Newton.

Relating Relativity

Remove relativity from your life for next 5 minutes.
How does it feel? Before going ahead, just think about it for sometime

No competitions, no worries...I already love it!
Almost 1/5th of the words in any language will have no meaning, example: smart will be there but smarter and smartest(being relative) will have no meaning, jargons of physics like relative velocity or frame of reference will be kicked out. So then what makes us go back to the relative world if it makes us unhappy relatively.
How did you feel last time when you did something which was really hard to look at?
I can assure you when you would have completed that activity you would have been on the seventh sky with goosebumps travelling at speed of light across your body.
To get the glimpse of this feeling is RELATIVITY.
Relativity is quintessential part of our lives. When you lose to somebody relativity provides you the zeal to fight back and when you win people greet you and your relativity with respect. Hardwork, efficient performance, enhanced productivity are all the results of Relativity isn't it?
In a broader perspective, the world we know today was discovered because of various relative phenomena; search for relatively better tool to work drove us from Stone to Bronze to Iron age, search for the outer world brought us from Sputnik to Rockets which will now bomb Moon and Mars.

So next time you think of hardwork remember that it is relative and you have to do well in this relative world.

Status Message Syndrome

What was the original intent behind status messages?
It was supposed to be analogous to voice message telling the status of person's availability. It has certainly evolved from there but is it for good...

Today's post is inspired by status messages people put on various portals, generally old sayings and proverbs. It has become a fashion to google famous(/infamous) personalities , copy a charming line stated by them and paste it on status bar. Job done.
On an average a person has 5000 different emotions of which some are even not covered by English language, moreover, human mind thinks of indefinite possibilities in a minute. You don't even know the history behind that saying and it is your status message.
Some examples (I will not be elaborate):
1. An orthodox statement, may be from 14th century, used for something which is just invented few decades back.
2. A religious statement mixed with professional world.
They could be acceptable but validate it first.

In the end, it is your status message and you are the best person to judge it.
But next time you put a status message, just see if this message really helps somebody or it is like several other inspirational statements which are just good to read.

Thoughtful Dream

Yester-night(imaginative term), I met somebody. I will share our conversation with you all:
I will refer this guy as a freelancer:
He shows me this pic

Freelancer: Inspired by the pic...
Me: Yes absolutely.
Freelancer: But there is problem with this picture
Me: Really, whats that!
Freelancer: It inspires everyone.
Me: Whats wrong in that, it is helping everybody.
Freelancer: Helping huh! Ok.
Freelancer: Let me share some facts...MK Gandhi got a propagation from a push, Thomas Edison got that from experimenting the same thing for not less than 1000 times, Albert Einstein from 3 dimensions and Adam from speaking skies(freaky though)
Me: So...whats the point dude?
Freelancer: I have this unorthodox funda to resolve things which I will share with you...
Whenever I am in search for a solution, I apply the question to my immediate surroundings and in this case the best I can think of is a molecule.
Me: Interesting...
Freelancer: Yeah! Now if you heat a solid bar of iron it's molecules gain kinetics. If we look at microscopic levels, even for a single degree rise in temperature, some molecules behave like they have crossed the threshold of solid state and can liquify. On the contrary, some take more than 1500 Celsius to liquify.

I got the point and I hope you also got it.
As in this case, 1 degree celsius is useless and world needs much more to get that activation energy.
The next thing I heard was my cellphone's alarm.

Predictably Irrational

Illusions are beautiful to look but, are they really?
Illusions are nothing but a Catch-22 situation to our sensory organs, these illusions can just be a source of fun and free entertainment on our mail boxes as indicated by the picture in the left, but when these illusions are taken for granted, and if they remain unsolved, they create myths.
Unsolved illusions can hamper the decision making ability of a person as well. Let me explain this with the help of an example:
There was an ad in, The Economist sometimes back which quoted the prices of its subscription for a year,
Case 1:
i. Online subscription = $59
ii. Print Subscription = $125
iii. Print subscription + Online Subscription = $125
The illusion (hurried decision making made simple numbers an optical illusion) makes you go for the third option. Dan Ariely, professor of behavioral economics, did a survey and found nothing different, the results were 16%, 0% and 84% against option i, ii, iii respectively. Thankfully, nobody went for second option or it would have registered as reverse evolution.

Since nobody wants option ii, why not eliminate it and there you go
Case 2:
i. Print subscription = $59
ii. Print subscription + Online Subscription = $125
All of a sudden, results change now 68% go for option (i) while just 32% remain with option (ii). The useless option became a driving factor here.
Today's entrepreneur knows how to exploit people and people don't get fooled by the mere reason that they don't understand these illusions on the contrary, they don't want to.
I leave it on you, how to decide and go about it, but remember whatever decisions you make are mostly driven by circumstances.

'We' versus 'They'

It's been 3 days now, from when I wrote my first post. Thanks to all who gave me comments and cautions for a head start. While going through the comments, I saw a question; it said the data which you want to put is already available on WWW so then what's the point dude?
Collection of this data leads us to an idea which is not available anywhere...

Recently, I came to know some facts about the myths prevailing about "We" and "They"
We = Western Countries
and, They = Third World Countries.
A reputed investment and consulting group, Goldman Sachs, from USA(esteemed member of First World Countries) coins the term BRIC for economies which are fast emerging and are supposed to eradicate the supremacy of $. Following chart shows future predictions of various economies and this could be validated from wikipedia. The BRIC power is clearly evident in this diagram,

Surprisingly, this BRIC has no room for the first world because it contains 2 second world countries, Russia and China, and 2 third world countries, Brazil and India. What an Irony!!!
Nandan Nilekani, chariman Infosys Technologies limited, explained in his presentation at TED that Indian population which in earlier times was once supposed to be the biggest threat to growth of the country, has now started to become its greatest asset.
The approximate difference between the average ages of India and USA is 5 years right now and this figure is expected to grow to about 9 years, by 2040. Secondly, the number of youths in India will be more than total population of USA. Just imagine the potential that we have in us!!!
We should realize the fact that we are moving into the blanket of progress.
Let's take examples of child mortality and number of births per female, which I consider as 2 most important issues which cause hindrance to any economy because child mortality is a straight indicator of illiteracy, poverty and number of births undoubtedly comes heavy upon the population indicator.
The following video might help figuring out the myth and the reality:

Assuming that you have gone through the video what can be the analysis brought about by this video, nobody is lagging now, you just have to utilize your resources judicially. We need a good governance, that should do good for you, me and everyone.

Blog's Introduction

I have always believed that confronting people is always a better idea because you don't want to miss even a single expression when you are delivering your thoughts. So then why should I own a blog, the answer to this was hidden in the fact which goes like this - an average person would meet a maximum of 10,000 people in his life span which is just 0.00017% of the entire world' population and this inspired me to, rather, start blogging.
Now that I have started blogging, what's next?
According to one of the reports in Blog Herald, a news channel for bloggers, number of blogs today exceed the whooping 50 million mark which is 5% of the total personal computers world owns today.
So how do I make mine different than others?
I would try to be factual enough to change people's opinion, opinion they share on, otherwise, small issues that the world posses.

A word of caution: Sidekick coming your way.
